Norman Kelly has been painting for over twenty-five years and says "to become a good artist will require a lifetime of study and acceptance of new ideas and change".
During the last five years, Norman has found a new subject to paint and explore - the Arctic. Past trips have included Ellesmere Island, Baffin Island and Northwest Greenland where he lived and travelled with the Polar Inuit, the northern-most inhabitants in the world.
Other previous ventures have included Britain, Ireland, Central Europe, the Mediterranean, Nepal, China several African trips and the Antarctic. Further painting and return trips to the Arctic will keep him busy for some time.
